NEMT recruitment is its own discipline. The submission matters more than the volume. The temperament, the license history and the genuine commitment to the job decide whether a driver or scheduler is still on the schedule six months in. Generalist agencies treat NEMT like any other transport category and miss the signals.

  • A temperament-led conversation about why they are in transport, how they handle difficult riders and what kept them in previous roles
  • Schedule flexibility, expectations and motivation captured in writing
